The surprise dinner

Tonight, the hen is expecting her guests—the bear, the squirrel, and the mouse—to enjoy a fresh cheesecake. There’s a knock at the door… but it’s a wolf, thin and frozen, who shows up! Overcoming her fear, the hen offers to let him warm up in the kitchen. The wolf can stay, but he must absolutely not let himself be seen by the guests. The bear, the squirrel, and the mouse arrive. One by one, unbeknownst to the hen, they catch a glimpse of a piece of the wolf behind the kitchen’s swinging door and bolt! The hen, very disappointed, is left alone with the wolf. And what do you think happens next?

The hen narrowly escapes her fate… Misunderstandings, a play on repetition, minimalist and clear illustrations with remarkable expressiveness—everything is there to make you laugh, even when you're scared!
